Andrew Holland is a Solicitor advocate and Senior Litigation Counsel at Serco, where he leads a high-impact dedicated team of lawyers managing both contentious and non-contentious legal matters. With over 10 years of post-qualified experience (PQE), he provides strategic legal advice to senior executives within the FTSE 250 company to support proactive risk management and defend high-stakes claims.
His extensive legal "wheelhouse" include a diverse portfolio of high-stakes Commercial Contract disputes, Human Rights and Equality Act, Data Protection (DPA/UK GDPR), Judicial Review and tortious claims. As a modern in-house litigation leader, Andrew has transitioned the role of in-house Counsel from being a reactive gatekeeper to a strategic value creator, identifying friction points both commercially and operationally and shifting focus from mere technical defence to proactive innovation and value creation for the business. Andrew’s continued aim to is to leverage litigation as a window to extract critical insights, this original and opportunistic strategy drives preventative measures enhancing risk management.
Prior to joining Serco in March 2022, Andrew spent four years as a Solicitor working at DWF in their Police, Care, and Justice Team.
Andrew is based in the Northwest with his Wife and three small children.
