Charlotte Hall

Onfido

Charlotte is a Senior Legal Director at Onfido, where she is responsible for all legal matters across EMEA & APAC. She originally trained and qualified as an employment lawyer at Hogan Lovells, before pivoting to in-house commercial roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and Expedia. A focus on innovation was fostered at HPE, where the legal team won the Financial Times Award for Most Innovative European In-House Team. She has carried on this interest at Onfido, where she has been responsible for building a “Legal Champions” programme to bridge the Sales and Legal functions, and led legal involvement in a “Smart, Scalable Compliance” programme to put Onfido at the forefront of a changing regulatory landscape.

Charlotte is currently undertaking a sponsored Executive MBA at Henley Business School, and enjoys flowing down her learnings to the Onfido Legal team and the wider business, particularly with regards to managerial styles and leadership skills. She is also studying for an Executive LLM at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) - specialising in Regulating Innovation, Communication and Technology - and co-leads the Onfido Mental Health FRG. Recent Mental Health sessions have focussed on thriving through change: a popular topic given the turbulence in the tech scale-up world, and one which aligns with Charlotte’s approach of championing and supporting those you work with.
