Emma's life in the legal sector started 26 years ago when she joined a small, regional law firm as a marketing administrator.  Aside from a module on law as part of her hotel management degree, which she was convinced she'd failed (she hadn't) and many episodes of Ally McBeal she had no experience of law firms or lawyers.. 

Fast forward 26 years, Emma is head of Marketing Operations for the UKIME region of Dentons, the world's largest law firm by headcount. She likes to fix processes and make things more efficient and thoroughly enjoys the collaboration with other teams and departments that her role brings. In the summer Emma gained an accreditation in TypeCoach, an online platform that provides personality type assessments and training tools designed to help people understand their own personality and communications preferences. She loved the course and now that it's over she can even look back fondly at the zone of discomfort that the 'teach back' brought! 

Doing a good job for good, fun people, and seeing a project come to fruition are the things Emma likes most about her role, and she counts herself lucky that she works for and with some brilliant individuals.
