George Grammer-Taylor is a Trainee Solicitor at Clyde & Co, currently sitting in the firm's global pro bono practice on secondment to Amicus ALJ. George is assisting Amicus ALJ with their mission to secure equal access to justice for those facing the death penalty in the United States. Prior to his Training Contract, George was the global coordinator for Pro Bono and Social Impact at the firm.
George is also a proactive member and global project lead at “Pryde & Co”, the firm’s LGBTQIA+ network. Since joining the firm, George has proactively engaged with the Responsible Business team, Employee Networks and Early Careers Team to share his passions for enhancing authenticity and humanity within the firm and legal profession. George was recently awarded "Mentor of the Year '' at the GROW Mentoring Awards 2023 for supporting his mentees in achieving their career ambitions and helping to reduce barriers to the legal profession.
