I like to say that I am a not too traumatised lawyer turned a Legal Tech and Operations expert!
I have what we can call a non so traditional journey in the legal industry.
In 8+ years:
I have successfully worked across jurisdictions and gained valuable experience in both private practice and in-house legal departments in both France and the UK.
I had the privilege of working for a legal tech provider, utilizing AI to drive efficiencies and revolutionize legal processes.
before venturing to legal ops and legal tech consultancy: advising legal tech vendors and creating educational content for in-house.
As the founder of "Beautiful Souls in Legal Tech" I have created a vibrant community that provides a safe and inclusive space for legal professionals. Through storytelling and empowerment, our community helps lawyers embrace their inner queen/royal energy, encouraging them to tap into their full potential. Without any funding, I started going around different legal events and giving away tiaras to people.
The idea behind it is that there is enough light for everyone - and we should share it so everyone can carry the crown and be a beautiful soul. I give away crowns to people who either have had an impact in the community or need the extra boost to keep on going.
On a more personal note, 2 #FunFact about me:
Fluent in five languages—French, English, Spanish, Arabic, and Italian—I was able to leverage these languages skills to work across jurisdiction from a business perspective but also connect effortlessly with individuals from diverse cultures, fostering meaningful relationships.
My favourite phrase is: "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step" (Lao Tzu) And incidentally, in June 2018, I embarked on an extraordinary 1000-mile hike (1700km) across France and Spain, known as the Camino de Santiago de Compostela. What was initially planned as a one-week journey turned into an incredible two-and-a-half-month odyssey, teaching me the importance of adaptability, perseverance, and embracing unexpected challenges.
