Lewis is Solicitor in the Corporate Ventures & Innovations team and an accredited Legal Technologist at Thorntons. Working in a hybrid role, Lewis looks to drive the Thorntons digital transformation strategy from within practice teams through identifying opportunities in day-to-day legal advice for impactful innovation. He has assisted a range of clients in adopting the Thorntons problem-first approach to legal innovation and developed end-to-end solutions custom to their needs.
Having worked with Thorntons for six years, Lewis has previously taken the same approach to many of the operational teams to drive efficiency and has assisted in shaping the Thorntons strategy to digital transformation. Now leading the Thorntons Catalyst programme for early-stage practitioners to learn a digital transformation skillset and working with a number of Scottish universities on the diploma in legal practice programmes, Lewis seeks to embed the O shaped principles in junior members of the profession’s education.
