Misbah has experience in regulatory law and is currently a Paralegal at the Royal College of Nursing (RCN), working in a regulated healthcare environment where legal decisions have a direct impact on people’s livelihoods, wellbeing and dignity. Her work regularly engages issues of fairness, proportionality and equality, giving her a strong, practical understanding of how the law operates within organisations and public bodies. She is recognised for her human-centred approach to supporting members through complex regulatory processes, contributing to positive and proportionate outcomes.

Alongside her role, Misbah completed a Leadership and Management apprenticeship with distinction and is now qualifying as a solicitor via the SQE apprenticeship route, reflecting her commitment to professional growth and long-term impact within the legal profession.

Beyond her day job, Misbah is passionate about strengthening the legal profession through collaboration, inclusion and community leadership. She was the first EDI Officer at Birmingham Solicitors’ Group (BSG), is an active member of Birmingham Law Society and is involved with Future Faces at the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce. She also established an initiative within higher education to support students from underrepresented backgrounds. Through various roles, she has brought together firms, chambers, universities and third-sector organisations to deliver accessible panels, skills sessions and inclusive events.

Known for turning ideas into action, Misbah shapes initiatives, supports partnerships and ensures meaningful follow-up. She brings energy, optimism and a strong cross-sector network, alongside a genuine commitment to making legal services more people-focused, accessible and impact-driven.
